Designed and made in Orlando
Local Love Orlando happened by accident in 2015. Hillery, along with other local artists, drew a 9ʹ×9ʹ hand-drawn map of downtown Orlando neighborhoods for the city’s campaign to end homelessness to communicate a message: home or no, every person that lays their head down at night on this 110-square-mile swampland is an Orlandoan.
The event generated a big response, and people came out of the woodwork telling us how much it meant to see their neighborhood visualized like that. We went on to make a print of that map as well as a few other products celebrating the city. In the wake of tragedy, we got to help our city heal through selling products for the total benefit of the One Orlando fund. We’ve continued the tradition of making stuff for Orlando, in Orlando thanks to local companies like Mama’s Sauce and Real Thread.
It’s our home, and we like it here.
